Today’s card is one of those where I had some small pieces of Designer Series Paper so pulled out some coordinating card to create layers and build a panel card.

I love this method of card making – it brings in lots of dimension and texture which is my style.  I decided to turn this into a guy card – but to be honest if I had flipped the DSP over and use the other flowery side it would work for a female card as well.

Card base:  8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic Grey Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4

Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Pressed Petals DSP

Layer 2: 2 3/4  x 2 1/4 Pressed Petals DSP layered onto 3 x 2 1/2 Night of Navy Card

Layer 3: 3 1/4 x 2 Very Vanilla Card layered onto 3 1/2 x 2 1/4 Night of Navy Card

Ink Colors: Night of Navy

My tree is from the Rooted in Nature Stamp Set and the greeting one of the FREE Sale-a-bration sets called Sending You Thoughts.  I thought the Denim Ribbon perfect for a guy card and a Night of Navy Happiness Blooms Enamel Dot to just finish everything off.
