Today’s card certainly has a pop of color combining Poppy Parade with Just Jade and the Painted Poppies Stamp Set.
I wasn’t really sure what sort of greeting to put on this card so decided to use ‘Just for You’ from the Sweet Strawberry Stamp Set, I love that I could use this card for just about any occasion.
- Base Card: 11 x 4 1/4 Just Jade Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2
- Layer 1: 4 1/2 x 3 1/2 Basic Black Card
- Layer 2: 4 1/4 x 3 1/4 Basic White Card
- Ink Color: Poppy Parade and Just Jade
I stamped the base card with the Just Jade ink using the ‘tone on tone’ technique simply randomly stamping the leaves over the entire surface of the card. The poppies are also randomly stamped and the spaces backfilled with the little dotty stamp in the Painted Poppies stamp set. The beautiful Just Jade and Gold ribbon add some subtle bling then a few of the 2020 -2022 In-Color Square Gems to finish off.
