Last week my brother and sister-in-law celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary, which is silver! Neither of them are into delicate, dainty or fancy, so after much thought and a stroll thru my stamp sets I decided the Stacked Stone Stamp would make a fantastic background with some elegant leaves from the Artistic Dies.

To bring in the silver theme I heat embossed the Stacked Stone image with Silver Embossing Powder. I did not want to add too much bulk to the card as it has to be posted to the UK, so the heat embossing had a huge impact.

• Base Card: 8 1/2 x 7 1/4 Soft Seafoam Card ~ scored @3 5/8
• Layer 1: 8 1/4 x 3 1/2 Basic White Card
• Ink Color: Versamark

The Stacked Stone Stamp measures about 5 1/2″ long and my Basic White layer is 8 1/4, rather than try to match up the design I decided to leave a gap of about 1 1/2″ then added the greeting which is from the Create with Friends Stamp Set.

I am having a bit of a love affair with the Artistic Dies, the beautiful ‘swish’ of leaves is cut from Soft Seafoam card and attached with some tiny dots of Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive. A bow made from the silver Simply Elegant Trim and attached with a Mini Glue Dot and a couple of Rhinestone Basic Jewels to finish off with out the card being too ‘fancy’ 🙂
