An Oldie but a Goodie

Welcome to my Corner of the World

In the excitement of getting new goodies to play with we sometimes forget the goodies we already have in our toy box! Today’s card shows a few techniques such as ‘tone-on-tone’ stamping, heat embossing and a little paper punching.

  • Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Basic White Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
  • Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Rose Red Card (long since retired)
  • Ink Color: Rose Red and Versamark with white embossing powder

I cannot begin to tell you how old the stamp sets used in this card are, probably over 10 years!! I found a small packet of pieces in my ‘odds n ends’ box that was clearly supposed to be a card but I never got around to finishing it. I decided to put together with a plain white card base and some rhinestones and I really love it. Don’t forget to look around for those little things you may have squirreled away – you just might find a treasure too! 🙂

I hope you enjoyed the card I shared with you today, I love what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and much more. Don’t forget to be a subscriber on the blog by clicking the blue follow button on the top right and my You Tube Channel so that you get all the projects.

As I have now retired as a Stampin Up Demonstrator I will know longer be sharing links to the supplies, however there are lots of wonderful demonstrators around the world who would be glad to help you with finding them. 🙂

Please note that I am not endorsing any particular products nor am I being compensated for using them. I am sharing an idea and hope that you will be able to use products from your own stash to create a similar card 🙂
