Welcome to my Corner of the World
As I explain in today’s video I have been experimenting with hot foiling , a technique that has been around quite a while but is new to me. As with all new techniques you have to practice to find the way it works best for you and your tools. After a morning of playing I ended up with some interesting results which I could not bring myself to just throw away, so I pulled out some other scraps of paper and card with a few embellishments and worked my way thru today’s card!
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Gorgeous Grape Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 5 1/4 x 4 Cotton Paper
- Layer 2: 5 1/4 x 2 Decorative Paper
- Ink Color: Hot Foiled in Gold
Check out the video to see how everything goes together and why my card measurements a little different from usual 🙂
A quick peek inside!
I hope you enjoyed the card and video I shared with you today, I love what I do and spend many hours working on designs, new projects, new ideas and much more. Don’t forget to be a subscriber on the blog by clicking the blue follow button on the top right and my You Tube Channel so that you get all the projects.
As I have now retired as a Stampin Up Demonstrator I will know longer be sharing links to the supplies, however there are lots of wonderful demonstrators around the world who would be glad to help you with finding them. 🙂
Supplies:
