18 months ago we had a neighborhood block party and 5 ladies found a mutual love of crafts and we decided to get together around my dining room table once a month to make some cards and other 3D items and just visit with one another.

When I packed up our house in June and July my last thought was about the upcoming holidays. I usually decorate for the autumn, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, suddenly September arrived and all my holiday decorations were in deep storage, now it is October and my decorations are still in storage…….. something had to be done………..!

Featured Product ~ Stampin’ Up! Gift Box Punch Board
One of the new products recently introduced by Stampin’ Up! is the Gift Box Punch Board. It was launched at the annual convention in July and I was able to buy one there. Now that Labor Day has passed and we officially entered ‘Fall’ on Monday evening, I figure it is safe to start talking about the upcoming Holiday season!

My sweet friend Rose has been making soap and I was lucky enough to be given one of the first bars. A new space
I have not posted over the last few days as I have been moving house. We successfully sold our house (which we had lived in since we arrived in the US in 2001) and we closed bright and early yesterday morning. However, our new house is still being built and will not be ready until Thanksgiving, so we have moved into an apartment for the next 4 months. Continue reading
