More Bunch of Blossoms ~ Stampin’ Up! products

Earlier this week I shared a couple of cards with the two-step stampin’ technique using the  ‘Bunch of Blossoms’ stamp set.  I have a couple of cards today that uses the same stamp set using  ‘filler’ stamps to give a more subtle ‘watercolor’ effect,  As the stamp set is a photopolymer it is very easy to line up each of the layers – in fact you could even do three layers!  The set also has 5 beautiful sentiments in such a pretty font.  Continue reading

Two-step stampin’ is a really great technique and there are a number of stamp sets in the SU catalog that have been designed especially for this.  ‘Bunch of Blossoms’ is one of them.   You can use the outline stamp then a ‘filler’ one to give a crisp image or use both ‘filler’ stamps to give a more subtle ‘watercolor’ effect,  As the stamp set is a photopolymer it is very easy to line up each of the layers – in fact you could even do three layers!  The set also has 5 beautiful sentiments in such a pretty font.  I have two examples to share today. Gift Cards and Framelits Dies …~… Stampin’ Up!

We were invited to a couple of weddings over the last few months.  It is always so difficult to choose a gift – even with a registry list it can be tough – sometimes the happy couple can be left with the high value gifts on their list, so we decided to give gift cards – these can be added together with others and put toward those high ticket items.

Giving a gift card on its own or in one of those cards from the store is never enough for me – so to make a pretty holder to present the card in is a must ~ I have 2 to share today. Continue reading

Those of you who know me or have followed my blog over the last few years know I work for one of the largest retail tax preparation firms in the country (if not the world)  It is an intense 108 days which starts at a slow pace then goes to a ballistic speed very quickly and does not let up until tax day which this year was April 18th.   Continue reading
