I love to have a small, cute calendar on my desk throughout the year – so each year I design a card to incorporate one. I chose the twisted Easel Fun Fold making it the perfect size to fit into a regular envelope so I could also send them as little gifts.
Continue readingI was a bit taken aback when I came up with today’s color combination ~ Real Red and Coastal Cabana ~ I saw some scraps that had fallen on the floor and decided I was going to go for it!! Very striking and I think it works!
As the colors are so striking I decided to keep the card itself very simple, just using a very simple fun gatefold.

I have created an easy fun fold card with nice soft colors, if you change out the greeting it would make a pretty, feminine birthday, thank you or thinking of you card.
Continue readingI love the combination of black and yellow, it is so bright and striking. Using the Color and Contour Stamp set allowed me to use Tuxedo Black ink for the outline of my flowers then Daffodil Delight to color in the petals.

The new Jan – June 2022 Mini catalog has the Butterflies and flowers Layering Decorative Masks – which are basically stencils. I give a quick overview of the 6 that are the pack in my video which focusses on the butterfly sheets. It was such fun to work with these and I am sure I will have some other samples to share with you over the coming weeks.

I have chosen to use a the Tidings of Christmas Designer Paper to create a ‘Just Because’ card today. This paper is in the Annual Catalog and available year round, and although Christmas 2021 is behind us I wanted to use it for something other than a Christmas card (although you could add a Christmas greeting and it would work very well)
Continue readingTime for a card for the guys in our lives – I am not very good at these so when one pops into my head I grab it very quickly before it fades away! I used the Mountain Air Stamp set paired with the Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper which has lots of ‘leafy’ designs to go along with the trees and mountains in the stamp set.
