Merry Merlot in a Tuscan Vineyard!

I just could not resist it………….. using the Tuscan Vineyard Stamp set with the Merry Merlot ink and card!!!!!!  With the exception of a little glint of gold I made this card monocromatic so the images really pop out.  I am thinking that this will be one of my sweet and simple cards where I use one stamp set, some card and ink, an embellishment and a couple of tools.

Card base:  11 x 4 1/4 Merry Merlot Card ~ scored @ 5 1/2

Layer 1:  5 1/4 x 4 Very Vanilla Card

Layer 2: 3 3/4 x 2 3/4 Merry Merlot Card

Layer 3: 3 1/2 x 2 1/2 Very Vanilla Card

Banner 4 1/4 x 1 1/4 Merry Merlot and 4 1/4 x 1 Very Vanilla Card

Ink Colors: Merry Merlot

Layer 1 was stamped randomly with the Bunches of Grape Stamp, then attached to the card base with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive.  Layers 2 and 3 are popped up on  4 – 5 Stampin Dimensionals, as it the banner at the base of the card.

A trio of gold metallic pearls and we have a card ready to send.  I did not add a greeting to this card, partly because the stamp set does not have any but also I think it would work for any occasion, don’t you?

We all have to face the fact that there will be times we need to send a card to someone who has lost a family member or dear friend – not the type of cards we would put on top of our list but necessary all the same, I think they are some of the hardest cards to create – I guess because they are so sad but my hope is it will bring just a little comfort.

Today’s card brings together two stamp sets ~ Sheltering Tree and Kindness and Compassion which has 8 different sayings in a lovely script.

Meant to Be ~ Z Fold Bridge Valentine Card

Happy Valentine’s Day

Today’s card is one we made during our January card class and it is a variation of the Z fold card, with a cute little 3D embellishment.   My inspiration came from a the Christmas card my dear friend, Elly, of ElleMentry Papercrafting in the UK, sent me.

I chose to use the Meant to Be Bundle today, it has such pretty, decorative hearts allowing me to randomly decorate my card, as well as the Be Mine Stitched Framelit Dies giving me lots of choice for using decorative die cuts.

I know that not everyone wants or needs to make a valentine card so I created a birthday version using the same supplies but using the Petal Pallete Stamp set and the coordinating Petals and More Thinlet Dies.
