I am thrilled that the Perched in a Tree and the coordinating Aspen Tree Dies have been carried over to the 2023 Jan – April Mini Catalog. With all the Christmas goodies I had, I kinda ran out of time to share this particular bundle before the end of 2022. Today I have used it to showcase 2 watercolor techniques on a fancy easel fold!

Continue readingWhen I think of valentine cards I tend to think of reds and pinks – to break out of that box I changed out the pink for black in today’s card and it did make a dramatic card, which I think would make a really good card for the fellas in our lives!

Continue readingEach month I take part in a Scrapbook hop, I recognize not everyone is into scrapbooking so I try to take some elements from my layout to create a card to show how Stampin’ UP! products can be used for both card making and scrapbook pages.
December’s hop had a Hidden Message theme (check it out here) I chose to have my hidden message on a New Year layout so today’s card is full of celebration with lots of bling to make my heart happy. I think this would make an wonderful congratulations card, for graduation, anniversary, engagement – just change out the greeting !!

Once again I enjoyed designing and making my flip over calendar for 2023, with the help of my friend, Elly – while she was visiting from the UK in October. . As I have done for the last few years I am going to be sharing one at the start of each month. This was designed for a stamp camp in early December 2022, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2024
I am changing things a little for this year, I recognise not everyone is into making 3D items so have created a card for each month, using elements from the calendar for that month. .
So today I share, a Happy New Year Penguin with a simple fun fold for the card!
