Today’s card is inspired by a recent Stampin’ UP! event I attended remotely. It focused on the recently launched Splendid Day Suite of products. The colors in this suite are just bright, fresh and SHINY!! perfect for my style – there is also a great new embellishment – the Open Leaf Trinkets.
- Base Card: 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 Petal Pink Card ~ scored @ 4 1/4
- Layer 1: 4 1/2 x 3 Basic White Card
- Layer 2: 4 pieces 2 1/2 x1 1/2 Splendid Day Decorative Paper
- Banner: 2 1/2 x 1 Soft Seafoam Card
- Ink Color: Petal Pink and Tuxedo Black
After stamping ‘tone-on-tone’ on the base card, I wrapped a length of Soft Sea Foam Seam Binding around the Basic White Layer then attached it to base card with Stampin Dimensionals . Using the 1/2 circle die from the Splendid Stems Dies I cut one from each of the pieces of decorative paper, then attached the shapes to the card with Multipurpose Liquid Adhesive, before adding the greeting banner and the bow. The Open Leaf Trinket is attached with a Mini Glue Dot tucked under the banner.
