Die Stenciling Technique with Splendid Thoughts

I think you may have guessed that Splendid Thoughts Stamp Set with the coordinating Splendid Stems Dies is a firm favorite in my stash!. This must be the 6th or 7th card I have shared in the last couple of months.

Today I am using this bundle to demonstrate a die stenciling technique, where I have used the dies to create stencils which gives a really neat coloring technique.

Stampin’ UP! Splendid Day Card #4

Welcome to my Corner of the World

As a Stampin’ UP! demo I get my hands on new products about4 – 6 weeks ahead of their public release, I also get to attend events, virtual and in person, where Stampin’ UP! shares ideas and designs. So it was in June when I was able to get my hands on the Splendid Day Suite of products and was able to make several samples which I have shared in the last few weeks. Daisy Garden – Thank You Card Idea

Having a standard recipe for the layers of a card can be a good start in the design process, today’s card follows a recipe I use quite a lot. That is my starting point, then I choose my colors and stamp set (s).

I may have shared in the past……………….. I love punches, they are one of the first things I look for when a new catalog comes out so while the layout is straightforward I have gone a little overboard with my punches. 🙂

Flip over calendar ~ September Echinacea

Welcome to my Corner of the World

Welcome September – I am hoping it will cool a little over the coming weeks.

Last year I had such fun sharing my flip over calendar at the start of each month that I have decided to do the same for my 2022 calendar. This was designed for a stamp camp in November 2021, we had such fun making them and my ladies have made me promise to do another for 2022.

So today I share, water-colored echinacea with dragonflies and late summer/early autumn colors.
