One of the lovely things about having card making classes is when you receive a hand-made thank you card in return. I thought I would share a couple I got in the mail in the last few weeks.

Gift Card Holder using Stampin’ Up!’s Mini Treat Bag Thinlit

We were invited to a first birthday party on the weekend before Christmas.  It is very difficult to know what to buy for a one year old, so I wimped out a bought a gift-card ~ I figured his Mum would know exactly what to get and choose something she liked as well 🙂

Rather than simply give the gift-card in the little holder they give you at the store I made a birthday card/holder using the new Mini Treat Bag Thinlit from the new Stampin’ Up! Occasions mini catalog*…………….

Thank you cards

I have three parts to my working life, Tax Advisor during tax season, Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and Origami Owl designer.   I have, on more than one occasion, expressed my feelings on the importance of saying thank you! I recently did some jewellery bars and 2 parts of my working life were able to come together when it came to thanking my hostesses!

Christmas Tags

I rarely wrap Christmas presents these days, preferring to use a decorated bag with fistfuls of tissue paper! Flower Shop and Blendability Love Notes

Last Saturday we celebrated World Card Making Day and I hosted an Open House for my lovely customers.  One of the projects was a 3 x 3 love note decorated with a flower colored using Stampin’ Up!’s Blendability Pens.  Throughout the day I was demonstrating how to use them and each time I used a different color set to see the effect.  By the end of the day I had a wonderful rainbow of flowers.  Those who know me also know that I am not good about wasting things,  so here is how I used them……………..
