To Every Season ~ Halloween Sweet & Simple Card

Have you seen the To Every Season stamp set on Page 51 of the 2019 Holiday Catalog? It has stamps and greetings for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Valentine ~ how useful is that?  Not only that – there is a coordinating Every Season Punch Pack  and I just love punches.

Rooted in Nature ~ Thinking of You

welcome back to my corner of the world.

Today’s card is one my ladies made in a recent Card Buffet – I get a lot of requests for ‘Get Well’, Sympathy and the like so I figure that ‘Thinking of You’ covers all those bases!  The Rooted in Nature stamp set is one I go to a lot – mainly because I just love that little cluster leaves stamp, and my colors are quite muted and not too jazzy so I think it would make a great guy card with a little change in the greeting.

Check out the links below for other cards made with this set.

You will have either arrived from Deb Naylor’s  post or starting here ~ either way WELCOME . This month’s theme is CHRISTMAS ~ this is my first Christmas card for 2019!

We are still having 90+F temperatures here in North Texas and it is a little difficult to think of Christmas so I have gone with contemporary colors that sound ‘summery’ ~ Bermuda Bay and Coastal Cabana!

Crumb Cake and Good Morning Magnolia

welcome back to my corner of the world.

Today’s card is a very simple design – using the beautiful Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set.  I try to use just one stamp set on a card and I particularly liked that this set has 3 great greetings that will fit into the punch I wanted to use as well as smaller flowers and leaves for decorating my envelope and the inside of the card.

I chose to use the ‘thinking of you’ sentiment, perfect for almost any occasion, the ‘hello’ sentiment would be perfect for a birthday and the ‘thank you’……. just speaks for itself 🙂

Magnolia Blooms, Scalloped Note Cards with a touch of Watercoloring

Hello Paper Crafting Friends ~ welcome back to my corner of the world.

Tucked away  on page 168 of the 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalog are some of the cutest notecards – they have a dainty scalloped edge to the card as well as the envelope.  The Scalloped Notecards and Envelope pack contains 20 cards with envelopes – 5 each of 4 different colors.

I chose to use these along with the Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set and some water color pencils to make the Thank You cards for my lovely customers who shopped with me for their Stampin’ UP! supplies in July.

It is so lovely to hear that someone is retiring – how wonderful to be able to get to that stage in your life when your time is your own to do with what you want – when you want to do it! So when a dear friend’s husband announced he was retiring in August it was the perfect occasion to celebrate with a card for him.

Today’s card has a tiny bit of stamping using the Well Said stamp set then some die cutting with the coordinating Well Written Dies.

Heirloom Frames and Daisy Lane Vintage Birthday Card

Hello Paper Crafting Friends ~ welcome back to my corner of the world.

Friday was my dear friend Elly (from the UK) birthday.  I have mentioned her on a  number of occasions as she has visited me here in the US several times, helped me with my annual Stampin’ Getaway retreat and craft fairs.  She is a talented papercrafter herself (click here to see her facebook page) so there is some pressure to make a special card 🙂

So today’s  card has a sort of vintage look with some sponging to soften cut edges using the Daisy Lane Stamp set with the Medium Daisy Punch along with the Well Said Stamp Set and coordinating Well Written DIes.

The Art of Stampin’ off with Seaside Notions – Video Tutorial

Hello Paper Crafting Friends ~ welcome back to my corner of the world.

Time for another technique today ~ Stamping techniques are simply ways to use your stamping supplies with a different approach to create a fun effect.

Stampin’ off gives you lighter shades of your ink color, giving you lots more flexibility to create texture on your cards/scrapbook pages.  I have used the Seaside Notions Stamp Set to make today’s card which was for my eldest step-sons birthday last week

Friends Forever ~ Happy Tails from Stampin’ UP!

Hello Paper Crafting Friends ~ welcome back to my corner of the world.

We were away on holiday (vacation) last week and our dear, sweet puppies, Daisy Mae and CiCi went to stay with some friends – who spoiled them rotten I am sure!  But I did so miss them and their little ways.  Needless to say when we got home they gave us a wonderful welcome – then Daisy Mae promptly gave us the ‘cold shoulder’ as punishment for leaving her!

So our ‘girls’ are our friends forever and today’s card is just for them with a lovely doggie theme from the Happy Tails Stamp set
